I know my title kinda sounds cliche and as if I've been through some sad incident or something but I have no idea what to name it. I'm finally done with Year 1. I still can't believe it. It somehow feels good and bad at the same time. Good as I've accomplished some of the things that I thought I wasn't able to do and bad as I know that it's gonna be tougher in Year 2. Hmm I just have mixed feelings. Anyway, my holidays have already started and I'm sighing with relief. You have no idea how badly I need a break. From countless of sleepless nights these pass 3 weeks due to studio project,  major load of stress and staring at the computer for hours, my body really needs a long well rest. Eating mac almost everyday and other food at times where people should be sleeping is also another problem and I have to head to the gym ASAP. I feel like an unhealthy blob.

The studio project which is the show called 'The Edge' was a success. I'm really proud of myself, group mates and classmates. What we actually did was the visuals and when the performers perform live, we will project our visuals on the screen on the spot. It was really nerve wrecking as it's live and if we screw up, we're screwed. All our lecturers were there including our Director. There were also the important people of course, the audiences. I could feel the tension as more and more people came. It's funny how our theme for the show is 'Quiet Tension'. The AV team members were walking around taking countless of pictures and videos, the logistic and PR team members were making sure that everything went smoothly. Before the show started, the design team helped to decorate the venue and organized the goodies. Basically, everyone in my class was heavily involved in the event. There was no time to slack or even take a breather. When the event ended, there was a sense of achievement. The smiles from all of their faces just brightened up the venue. You could feel how happy everyone felt. It was definitely a wonderful once in a life time experience. We grew closer to each other as compared to the first day of school. Everyone has really opened up and I could see their true colours. Year 1 had it's ups and downs but overall, I had a blast. I made really good friends like Amirah, Zarifah, Halizah, Hazmira & Amalina. I swear they are a bunch of fun balls. HAHAHA! So yeah, I had a great first year experience in poly and I'm looking forward to 2 more years of it. No doubt it will be tougher but that's what keeps me striving. Without challenges, moving forward in life would be pointless. I'll learn from my mistakes and excel from there.

Before my esplanade project starts, I'm gonna enjoy my holiday to the fullest!!! Till then, chow! :)
