I can't believe that it's the last month of the year. The past few months really went by in a flash. Ok it's not the end of 2013 yet so I'll stop blabbering. Anyway, I met up with my bestie Michelle who I've not seen for 2 months. Missed her so much! We went to a cafe called Department of Caffeine. At first, we couldn't find our way, kept looking at the map and walked in and out of Outram Park MRT station. Then, an uncle approached us (probably after seeing our lost faces) and was kind enough to walk us all the way to the traffic light opposite Duxton Park. TG for smart phones and maps, we managed to find our way after 15 minutes of walking. Since we did not make any reservations, we had to wait for awhile to be seated and hence our opportunity to take pictures outside the cafe while waiting.






Then.....We got called in to be seated. The cafe was smaller than I expected. Nevertheless, the atmosphere was cozy and the food was not bad actually. I was really satisfied with the meal that I ordered. Michelle was too with hers.

After that scrumptious meal, we went to Orchard road and had a nice walk. It was Christmas eve and everyone there were feeling festive and jolly. It was quite crowded though, but we managed to sit near the Christmas tree outside ION and had a good chat.

Later that week, I met up with  Asheera, Syazwani and Neon. The last time we met was also about 2 - 3 months ago. We went to the cafe called Stranger's Reunion. This time, again, we got lost. We alighted at Outram Park MRT station. Apparently there were quite a number of cafe around that area. After 1 hour of trying to find the cafe but to no avail, we raised the white flag and decided to take a cab. When we reached there, the cafe was full house and we had to wait for awhile. So while waiting, we each decided what course we individually wanted to try and then we could share. As we were seated, I looked around and the only interior that I was impressed with was the sink area. HAHAHA can't deny it was decorated really well.  The food took quite some time to be served. Mine was last to come! Boohoo. The overall food wasn't fantastic but thankfully I was satisfied with my order.

After that, it was time for our camwhore session!




 


Had fun catching up with them though at one part I was feeling terrible (most probably due to the cream cheese from the crepe) and was such a burden (sorry guys) but after having a hot peppermint tea from Starbucks, felt so much better. Can't wait to meet them again and go to another cafe hopping adventure!

Yet again, later that same week, met up with my cousin and Chloe at Chloe's crib. Before that, we went to watch Frozen. I'm so in love with Olaf!!! It's so cute! I would rate the movie 9/10.


I also met up with my funball Yvonne!!!!! After her work, we went to have dinner together at The Cathay and then a long walk to Somerset.

I didn't take pictures of our dinner but these were our dessert.




So basically, I met many of my friends in a week. Great company, great food and lots of fun! Till then, chow! :)
