Yeah, it has been quite a long time since I last blogged. I was quite busy with my poly posting results and other stuff. I'm super happy and blessed that God has heard my prayers because my JPSAE was successful. This course was my first choice for both JAE ans JPSAE. So when I got to know it, I literally broke down in tears of joy. It was the happiest moment for me last month! Teehees.

Anyway, I didn't do any shopping for clothes so far. But I will soon after I get my pay from work. I'll might be starting work next Monday. I'll only know if I get the job by this week. *Fingers cross*. I'm currently broke again because I bought the camp rock 2 soundtrack CD as well as camp rock 1 and 2 the movie. I also bought two magazines!! There's One Direction, Justin Bieber and the Jonas Brothers inside!!

Went to Causeway Point and Sunplaza and bought all this stuff with my cousin and lil bro.

Pfft! Bad quality and lighting..not gonna use my bro's camera anymore! Alright chow!

Honestly, I don't know how to use those chimp photoshop tools like Adobe, etc. I don't have the knowledge or the skills. Hence, I use easy, fun, awesome and yet free online photo editing tools.

My current most favourite photo editing site is www.picnik.com. I was devastated to hear that the site will be closing down on 19 April 2012. No more awesome effects as well as fonts!! =(

To show their appreciation to those who have been supporting and using picnik, the site was so kind enough to let everyone use their premium features for FREE!! Yes free!! I was elated to hear that but also sad at the same time. I shall make use of all the premium features before it closes down!

Finally a post where I can talk a lot! I've been busy with shopping and I'm like really broke right now. Gotta find a job asap, earn and save the money for my room makeover, S. Korea/Japan trip and as well as my future education. I'm thinking of taking part time accounting course or business course until my poly starts. Ohoh and I'm also gonna take Chinese lessons because it will be beneficial when I grow older to find a job. Btw I'm officially 18 years old now. That means that I'll be able to take my driving license. Gonna save up for that too.

Alright, enough of me going on about saving up and for what reasons. Anyway, I went to town a couple of times these pass few weeks. There were sales going on since New Year and since it was also Chinese New Year last two days ago, there was also CNY sale. School, life, future

It has been a super long time since I last blogged. I've been really busy with poly open houses, O level results and choosing I want to do for my future. I didn't do as well as I expected, I was actually devastated with my results but at least I'm contented that I'm able to go to a poly. I'm one of the 58 students eligible to go to poly. So yah..Anyway, now the result of which poly I will go to awaits me. Damn scared but I'll pray and hope for the best.

As you can see from my blog post title today, it's gonna be about that topic. So I apologize if it's boring because I too feel is a boring topic. I've not gone out since O level results and have been lazying around at home watching "You're Beautiful" (it's a korean drama) and youtube videos. So yeah, my week has been super boring. Before I put you guys to sleep, here's something that I've been working on today.

I was suppose to write a song but it's turning out to be a poem. I just have to work on the lyrics and chorus.

The song is called "The Pain of A Broken Heart". I already had the title in mind 2 years ago but I didn't had the right inspiration to write the lyrics. After watching 'You're Beautiful', I had some inspiration because most of the songs in that drama had a lot of emotions and the lyrics were very meaningful.

Writing song lyrics isn't easy. You have to be in an emotional state to really write the lyrics. You need to have the inspiration as well as the mood. Anyway, went shopping with bestie (Michelle) today. I didn't see her since the Singapore Poly camp since she was busy with work so finally I get to meet her after so long! Had so much fun!! We went to Ion Orchard to have lunch and then window shopping. After that, we headed to 313 Somerset, H&M, Abercrombie & Fitch and Scape Youth Park. All of these places were super crowded since it's new years eve. We even had to queue up to get into A&F. But it was worth the wait as it was Mich's first time to go to A&F and I got to show her all the hunky guys there. HAHA! And it was our lucky day, there were two hot guys at the entrance. They were the ones letting people in and we got to take pictures with them including a polaroid picture with a shirtless model inside the store. Aww too bad the shirtless model looked old, as in he was like in his 30s? Anyway, there was a flea market held at scape. I didn't even know and I was like "great! when I'm already bankrupt, I find a flea market" and mich was so kind to tell me that she would lend me money if I really wanted to buy something but I said never mind. Got to not buy in impulse. I was broke because I bought a $63 high-waist jeans from New Look. But not regretting it because I mega love this jeans! Super nice!!

Ohoh! And the day before I went shopping at Ion Orchard, Wisma Atrium, Far East Plaza and 313 Somerset. Here are the items I bought + the New Look jeans:

Missing posts? OMG?

If you have been keeping up with my blog posts, then you've noticed by now that my December posts are not shown in full. I've no idea why and I've no idea how to resolve it. That's the problem with getting templates from blogskin.com. I really like my blog but this is a problem. So I'll be changing my blogskin soon, most probably in January 2012. New year, new blogskin! But I'll be using the same background because I mega love the background design.

So anyway, new year's day is coming really soon. Have you guys already made up your new years resolution? For me, I did not even stick to my new years resolution for this year. MEGA FAIL! I know right. I'm actually disappointed with myself. But this time in 2012, I will stick to my new years resolution for real. I'll be turning 18 and have to be 'mature'. Ok it sounds weird but I hope you know what I mean. Mature as in making good decisions, not to have any bad habits, have a healthy lifestyle, explore the world (LOL jk).

So yeah. Oh, one more thing, more interesting blog posts in 2012! :)

Today I'll be blogging about contact lenses. Coloured contact lenses weren't a big hit a few years back but since last year, it has been a trend for many people to wear them since there are more and more designs and colours to choose from. At first, I thought these big-eyed or whatever contact lenses looked weird and fake and made people look like aliens. Now however, I've totally changed my mind. Most probably after seeing how you can make your eyes look pretty with the combination of makeup and contact lenses. PS: I might have probably seen the 'wrong' people wearing these coloured contact lenses. One person who totally rocks wearing coloured contact lenses is non other than Xia Xue, the famous chio blogger. Her favourite word 'chio' which she most refers to pretty stuff. HAHA.

I won't be doing any lens review for the moment but in the mean time, I'll show you guys some of the lenses which I think are pretty awesome and 'chio'. Technology is seriously awesome to come up with such pretty designs!

A walk through memory lane...

I was browsing through some old photos. Lots of memories. Those young teenage days when there were not much worries, but lots of joy and happiness. Now, things have change, I'm older now and will be 18 and legal in a few weeks time. There are a lot of things to be worried about. My life, education, family and friends. This year has been the most tough, rough and stressful year I've ever been through in my life. It is the most crucial year. The year of O levels. 'The' examination that would determine my education path. It's make it or break it. I'm scared to death but I'll pray for the best. Apart from my stressful studying for O levels, I had to go through a heart-breaking moment. I lost two of my BFFs because of a fight that was never meant to be. Something that lasted so long just ended in a blink. I never thought that 'that day' would come that we had to end our friendship. It was really hard for me but I had to get over it as my O level examinations were far more important. Thank God I had very good friends to be my helping hand and a shoulder to lean on when I needed them. I really appreciate them and they mean the world to me.

Ok enough of my sad life, apart from looking at those photos of friends, I was also aware how I changed, physically and mentally. I dress better now. HAHA. In terms of mentally, somehow, I get emotional easily. I get angry easily. Don't worry, I won't go "@!@#$%&#*&(*&%" swearing or turn violent. I'll just go on 'ignorant mode'. I won't speak/respond to the person who made me angry or I'll snap at that person if I really have to reply. So yah. Need to work on my anger management. Aside from that, I realized I'm a very giving person. I like to buy gifts for my family and friends. Whenever I go shopping or at overseas, I would always think of buying gifts for them that I think they would like. Just the joy of giving makes me feel blissful. Not once have I not bought a souvenir when I go overseas. Seriously.

Simple Shopping

Went to Bugis and Ion Orchard with cousin and bro yesterday and it was super crowded. My dad gave me $100 to buy a pair of jeans for myself. Thanks dad!! :) Obviously the jeans that I'm gonna but will not exceed $60 so I wanted to buy a new pair of shoes from Rubies at Ion Orchard. I tried the shoes on wednesday and it fitted perfectly and I super love it. But when I went, the shoes were the same type but different colour and the colour that I want, there was only two left! And you know what? The staff at Ion Orchard Rubies are seriously inconsiderate and irresponsible.When I asked if there was the shoes that I want in size 41 (yahyah I have big feet bcoz I'm tall) but the lady said "everything is already displayed there, go check yourself" and I was like wtf? Is that how you treat a customer? I mean I may be younger than you, but only a few years (she looked 19-23), but you don't have to treat me like shit. And she was giving the 'I don't give a damn' face all the time -.- I was so pissed off that I just went out of the shop. Ruin my day!

Anyway, went to Bugis after that. We took neoprint! My favourite photo booth! xD Then walked around Bugis street. I went to Bugis before I went to HK and I was like 'I wanna buy sooo many thing but no $' and when I walked around this time, I didn't had the mood to shop at all. However I bought some necklaces and a pair of earrings. I really wanted to buy those shoes at Rubies!!! How did the shoes be sold so fast?! =(

Day before yesterday, I had dinner with my friends from G3.4. Met then from Singapore Poly's escapade 1 day camp. Had an awesome time and the food was not bad although it was quite expensive for me. Can't wait to meet them again! Maybe next we'll go shopping or laser shooting or bowling.

Hong Kong Trip

I'm back from Hong Kong since yesterday. I'm super tired as I slept at 2am. I was uploading the photos are facebook. It took a mega long time. Anyway, HK was not as cold as I expected. It was more like air-con. But so many people were wearing winter clothes as if it was snowing and these winter clothes were freakin' nice!! Most of the ladies were wearing booties which were so cute! I want! The jackets and coats they were very damn nice! Super jealous. While shopping on the second last day, I came across this store that sells clothes from Japan. Most of the jackets are so freakin' cute and pretty!! And the best part they're reasonably priced! Some of the jackets looks like Liz Lisa style. Damn pretty. I wanted to buy but I realize that I won't use it often and these jackets are for cold climates. If I wear it in SG, I'll sweat to death and people would even think I'm crazy. So sad..I really liked the jacket.

I mentioned at my previous post that I was gonna shop till I dropped right? Yah right! All the clothes were winter clothes!! I was like dying when I saw there was no clothes for summer at all. I came at the wrong time for shopping. I didn't shop till I dropped but I walked till I dropped to find a clothing store for my style. Luckily there was 3 stores and I bought 3 clothes and 1 beanie. Surprisingly, I spent most of my money at Disney Land.

I'll be heading to Hong Kong tmr so I'll not be blogging till I'm back. Guess what? I've not even packed yet! OMG! IKR! I still don't have the excitement feeling yet. And the thing is, I'll be going to Disney Land and that's the place I've always wanted to go and yet, I don't feel excited yet. Hmm..I think once I'm on the plane then will I have the exhilaration. Oh well, I seriously don't know what clothes to pack! My dad said not to bring many clothes as I'll buy a lot from there. OMG! I can't wait for shopping!!! I'm gonna shop till I drop and I'm so gonna buy a lot of stuff from Disney Land! hehe :D

Ok so anyway, today I learned how to tie a hair bow! Was freakin' difficult at first but after more than 50 times of tying my hair, I've got the hang of it and I can finally tie a hair bow. My friends all know that I'm a fashionista and that I mega love shopping. It's true, I keep track on trends and most of the time, I'm updated with others' fashion and styles. But I won't say that I've a lot of clothes, seriously! Because, compared to my mom, she has lots more clothes than me and I think my sense of fashion have rubbed on her as sometimes, she even buys the same style of clothing that I own. HAHA! Alright, anyway, today I'll be focusing on 3 of my favourite shops that sells awesome accessories. They are Diva, Accessorize/Monsoon and Talisman.

Diva is a really cute shop originated from Australia that sells freakin' cute necklaces, earrings, bracelets, hairbands, etc. And the best part is, these accessories are categorize by colour and style which I think is pretty cool and convenient. The prices are reasonable, most of the items are below S$20. Venues: Bugis Junction, Ion Orchard, Orchard Cineleisure, 313@Somerset and Vivo City.

Accessorize/Monsoon is a UK brand that sells mostly bohemian accessories. They also do sell cute bags, sandals, sunglasses and clothing, depending on the season. The prices, however, I feel is quite expensive. The price range is between $16 and above for an item. Venues: Bugis Junction, Ion Orchard, Changi Airport T3, Raffles City, Ngee Ann City and Takashimaya.

Last but not least Talisman. If I'm not wrong, it's a local brand in Singapore. They sell lots and lots of accessories such as belts, necklaces, bracelets, hairbands, bags, sunglasses, key chains, etc. The outlet at Bugis street is freakin' HUGE! and of course AWESOME! The prices are also very reasonable and there are some good deals like for some items, 1 is for S$5, buy 2 and get 1 free! Have been shopping from this shop for 3 years already! :) Venues: Bugis Street, Far East Plaza and Jurong Point.

I've actually got almost 50 necklaces altogether!! Will show you guys all of them soon! haha I'm the accessories princess! hehe ;P

From 22nov - 24nov, I went to Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Red Camp 8. I was in the group Spartans (grey). There are other groups too such as the Vikings (green), Apaches (red), Centurions (yellow) and Ninjas (blue). The student leaders (SLs) in my group were super enthusiastic and hyper to the max! This camp was more about letting us have a feel of the courses that NP has to offer. That's why for the pass 3 days, we had a tour around the school to the different blocks of courses such as Business, Mass Communication, Life Sciences, Human and Social Science, Multimedia and Engineering. I made more new friends with the SLs than with the student campers. I had fun cheering the most and Spartans has the best cheers so far! I swear! :) Here are some pictures with the SLs:

Singapore Poly's Escapade was freakin' awesome!

My body's aching, I had a bad headache when I woke up this morning and I can't chew properly because my jaw is hurting every time I try to open my mouth. I know it all sounds as if I had a really bad day the day before but you know what? It's so NOT! I had the most awesome time that I've ever had yesterday and it's all thanks to Singapore Polytechnic's Escapade. It's actually a full day camp for those students who have just done their O levels. I'm telling you guys that this event was BETTER than I expected.

My bestie (Michelle) and I were assigned to the group G3. There were many groups from group G1 onwards and we were called the IMAGI and our colour was green. However, there are two other groups which are Inspira (orange) and Inno (blue) .Our facilitator was non-other than the awesome Sakeena!! She's super high and gets our group all pumped up and excited. Thank God that we got such an amazing facilitator like her! So anyway, after all of us got to know each other, we headed to different locations for our activities.

Our first activity was actually a 5hrs thing. Yah I know, damn long. But actually, time flew really fast. We did a collage/mindmap sort of thing and at the end of it, we had to act out our idea. The theme was, "how can Jillian, a 17 year old poly student be involve in saving the environment". It was fun but I was really super nervous when I was chosen to be the narrator of the act. I could hear myself speaking super fast and I kinda screwed up some parts. But hey, at least I tried right? There was no script at all, I just had to like come up with a dialogue on the spot. So yah, it was a good practice for my future as I have to do public speaking when I'm in poly. We ate pizza for our lunch which was so scrumptious! We had three other group activities after that which were doing a crossword puzzle, using some weird long device to burst balloons and making some sort of tube where water have to pass through from one end to the other end without leaking.

Last but not least, at the end of the day, we danced like there was no tomorrow!! I've never ever jumped so many times in my life, I swear. That's the reason for my body ache and the blood-rush that I got this morning. My jaw hurting must be because I smiled too much and I laughed a lot! The monster leaders (facilitators from all groups) literally rocked the stage man!! I had so much fun with my bestie and my new friends that I've made. We really bonded and now we're more like a family and Sakeena is our 'mother'. Haha! This experience will stay with me in a lifetime and I will always reminisce about this day which will always stay in my heart. :)

ps: now is 12am+ so it's already 21 nov, just pretend it is 20 nov alright! That way, what I'm writing will make more sense. Alright peace out!

Didn't go out today and the weather sucks

I was suppose to go out today but didn't in the end. Didn't know where to go or what to do. So I just stayed at home as usual and had a movie marathon. Watched Mr Popper's penguin, a bit of bridesmaids, a bit of a Thai movie that Kao(Jirayu Laongmanee) acted and Prom. The starting of bridesmaids was disgusting. Oh well, I'm not used to watching M18 movies. So anyway, that's what I did today. Yah, so boring! And guess what I'm doing now, multi tasking, playing neopets and writing my blog now. Some people think that blogging is easy but they are so wrong. It's easy if you have something to write about but sometimes, ok, most of the times, we bloggers have to think real hard on what to write about and it's a difficult and stressful thing to do. But after brainstorming for a long time and at the end of the day, when our blog post turns out well, it gives us satisfaction and pride which is worth all the brainstorming.

Tmr, I'll be going to work on my 'Sweetheart' collection. I have so many ideas and I can't wait! The ideas all came to me yesterday and I'm really looking forward to it. As you know, I love hearts, ribbons and bows! That's what my collection is all about! My collection will have spring, summer and winter wear! It's gonna be awesome!!

I've been real bored staying at home and I can't wait to go out!! Have been watching a movie marathon for the pass 2 days. I watched Puss In Boots, Something Borrowed, The Three Musketeers, Abduction and Monte Carlo. Not only that, I've been playing the game Neopets for the pass few weeks. I think I'm gonna die of boredom soon. Not to worry, may be going out tmr and on Friday onwards! woohoo! So anyway, I'm currently looking for hairstyles and hair colour because I'm gonna change my hairstyle! It's really hard to find a unique hairstyle these days..I've been looking for nail designs too! xD

It has been a long time since I last blogged. I have been quite busy with O levels and this stressful journey is all gonna end on Monday, 14 November. Can't wait! There's so many places that I wanna go and so many things that I want to do! Ohoh, and I'll be going to Hong Kong on December 4th! It's gonna be so freakin' awesome! Haha, I see that I've used many exclamation marks but I can't help it, I can't hide the excitement!

Anyway, I've nothing much to post today but I'll just post some random funny and cute photos. Enjoy! Don't worry, I'll be updating my blog regularly from next week onwards. It'll be a busy week. It's has been a long time since I last blogged. Sorry for the super late post. I've been really busy with my studies and tmr will be my 'O' level science practical exam!! OMG! The year has really gone by so fast, like a blink of an eye. Things have happened and people have changed. I, myself, have changed. I've become a stronger person; mentally and I've realized to never ever let anyone take advantage of me, not even the people who are close to me. If they're willing to do so, just to get the best of me, than I feel that they're just shouldn't be a part of my life anymore. But sometimes, if you think it's not worth it, like me, which I feel that a silly incident is not worth the ending of a 4yrs+ friendship..You might never know who will be the ones who will stay with you all the way regardless what the circumstances are, the people who truly care for you and respect your decisions and advice you when in tough times. There may be some who will put an act, which I feel, is really unreasonable and selfish and in way taking advantage of you but there will always be the ones who are genuinely truthful, lends a listening ear and a shoulder to lean on. Just a piece of advice, never to let your guard down and give in to people as sooner or late, they will take advantage of you and you will be the one who gets hurt.

So anyway, I've bought Joe Jonas's fastlife album 4 days ago. It's freakin' awesome!! And yes, I've been 'obsessed' with Joe since 2007. Common, he's like the most good looking among his brothers, I mean in my opinion, of course. But, it seems that Nick Jonas is getting hot as well. However, I still feel that Joe is the best looking!! MacDonald Feast and camwhore!!

Today, I and my bro had a MacDonald feast. Since we were too lazy to go out and eat, we decided to call the delivery man. Actually, a lady picked up the phone when I called lol. Anyway, we ordered family mean B. It consist of 1 McSpicy, 1 Teppanyaki Chicken McGrill, 2 medium french fries, 2 small coke and 2 apple pies. It's suppose to be $14.95 but the delivery charge cost $4!! So total it cost $18.95! Overall we were super full in the end. We watched the movie HOP on mio movies. Loooove the chick which loves to dance!! It's so cute!!

Anyway, I kinda camwhore yesterday with my Nikon camera since I had make up on. Didn't wanna waste my hard effort on Michelle Phan inspired big eyes make up :D

Teachers' Day Celebration 2011

Every year at YTSS, my school's graduating students will perform during teachers' day. This year, it was my class turn as well as the rest of the 4E and 5N classes. Have been watching the graduating classes perform for the past 4 years and this year it was finally our time. Never thought this day would come so soon. Anyway, we performed a dance with the song 'That Thing You Do'. The boys also danced to the Kpop song 'Sorry Sorry' and 'Tonight'. After the dance, a video montage was shown on screen. Overall, our class performance and the montage was feakin awesome!! Gotta thank Patrine Choo and Low Zhe Hao for their hard work choreographing the dance and for Patrine for doing the best ever montage. Really proud of my class 5N2. All our hard practice and effort paid off. This day will be in my memory forever (:

Today I'm gonna talk about fashion! My favourite topic! Yay! For the past 2 years I've been observing the fashion trend. In 2009, many ppl were into punk and scene style. Last year, Korean fashion overwhelmed the fashion world. This year, it's vintage from the 70s and 80s followed by Japanese floral fashion and now Bohemian.Personally I feel that my favourite style would be Bohemian as the style is like a combination of floral patterns with a splash of colours for accessories and has a feel of the beach, very serene.

The most popular place to shop for cheap/reasonable clothes is Bugis Street and Far East Plaza. The shops there mostly sell Korean, Japanese style and vintage clothes. Another popular destination to shop for branded and awesome clothes are 313 Somerset and Ion Orchard where there are the famous brands like Forever21, Mango, Top Shop, Accessorize Monsoon, Diva, Cotton On, Zara, Uniqlo, etc. These shops are now trending for their Bohemian as well as vintage style clothing.

Hmm, sadly I didn't manage to finish my composition during my English Paper 1 exam. Really frustrated! Shouldn't have spent so much time for my letter writing. Sigh..really wasted. The paper 2 was not as hard as expected but it was not easy either. Some of the questions really made me think hard and I had to brainstorm the answer for about 3-5 min for the 2marks question. Damn! I realized that for my vocabulary, I lost 4 marks out of 5? My definition for the word zenith was wrong and my definition for the word lustrous, I wrote shinny when it's suppose to be shiny!! arrrh!! I forgot what the other 3 words were..zzz 5 marks is 1 grade down!! Hmm, what's done is done just have to never ever forget the definition of these words ever again.

You might be wondering why my post for today is named 'aww'. Well, it's because my dad broke the news that my family and I can't go to South Korea during the November, December holidays =( It's because the tour is quite expensive like $1300+ per person..oh man..

Nervous Breakdown!!

I'm starting to feel the pressure! OMG! Tmr was suppose to be my 'O' level oral exam but since the day after tmr is polling day, my oral has been postponed to 31 August. Tmr is my English prelim and I'm starting to get nervous now. I mean it's either make it or break it. Although it's not like it's the actual 'O' level paper but this is the exam that will result at where I stand in terms of my grades. I have to somehow aced it in order for me to confirm and make sure that I'm able to get my distinction for English 'O' level. The pressure is on and I'm gonna work my ass off till the last second. Later gonna practice on summary and memorize some idioms for my composition.

Anyway, I have been fantasizing about the Jonas Brothers for these past 2 weeks. Hmm more of fantasizing about Joe Jonas ;P Well it all started when I joined this Singapore Jonas Brothers Facebook group. I'm actually a Jonas Bros fan since 2007. So yah, this group had all the 'Jonatics'. All of them talking about the Jonas Brothers how and how awesome they are. They also talked about Joe's recent performances, his new songs, etc. I on the other hand posted 'photo of the day' everyday to show my enthusiasm (:

Happy 13th B'day Bro

Yesterday was my lil bro's 13th b'day. He's finally a teenager now! Haha..I remembered my 13th b'day, feeling proud that I'm finally 13..Now I'm 17 already and just 5 more months to my 18th b'day! Can't wait! xD

So anyway, after school yesterday, went to buy a b'day cake for my bro at Admiralty. The cake was from Prima Deli, a hazel nut cream cake. After buying the cake, went home straight to get ready for dinner with my family at North Point. My bro and I ate Japanese food at Ishimura while my parents ate at the food court as they did not like Japanese food. After dinner, we all went home straight to cut the cake. My bro was elated and he couldn't wait to cut his b'day cake. He said that he had to cut it at 9.13pm. I forgot what's with the no. 9 but I knew 13 because it's his 13th b'day.

These particular Mr Bean plushies were from 2007!! ahh!! and they were only $3 each and some of the proceeds goes to charity! now 1 plushie costs $16.90! hmph, so expensive!! But I want them!! =(

Ok so anyway TGIF!!! But the bad thing is, I've to kick start on my school work. Damn now my hw is piling up like mount everest! zzz..Have to start chionging and NOT PROCRASTINATE! Gotta attain my goal/dreams of getting <10 L1B4 for 'O' levels. I know it's freaking tough but I'll work my ass of to achieve this final goal for my secondary school life.

Hmm I've already achieved 2 of my most important goals. The first one was when I was in secondary 1 during the first day, first time of art club. It was in 2007, one of the seniors in art club brought us to the art room for our first day off CCA in secondary school life. I remember being really nervous. When we reach the art room, there were quite a no. of ppl in art club. We sec ones were introduced to our seniors. They clapped and cheered for us which made me happy as it broke the ice. I became more calm and started talking to my art club members and socializing. After a while, I knew more about the senior who brought us to the art room. She was the President of Art Club. Her name was Lynette. She was a very patient, funny and sociable person. I was sitting beside her at that point of time and I really looked up to her from that day on. After about 4-6 months in art club, it was time for a new President to step in as Lynette was stepping down due to her 'O' levels. I was really sad at that point of time. I applauded her for her excellent leadership qualities and admired her as my senior and mentor. A new president was elected then and it was Chia Xing, my another senior. I also looked up to her and she had similar qualities of Lynette and also impressive leadership skills. Ever since then, I promised myself that I would work hard to be the future President of Art Club and when I was in secondary 3 in 2009, I achieved my goal by being the President of Art Club. I attained this leadership for 2 years and I'm proud of it! :) The 2nd goal was to go for OBS (Outward Bound Singapore). I made that goal in 2008 when I was in secondary 2 and last year during November, my dreams came true and I went to OBS!! It was the best leadership camp ever even though it was freaking tough. Best experience I've ever had and a once in a life time opportunity.

So next goal to achieve is L1B4 <10!! I can do it!! :)

And another random thing I did was to search for my dream engagement ring..hehe

Bad luck day!

Waah it's been a long time since I've blogged. Was super busy with school and still busy and stressed up. Today must be one of the bad luck days for me. Why you may asked, well firstly, my sch's NDP this year kinda sucked real bad. Seriously! Not that I'm mean or anything but I do appreciate their efforts in performing but it seems like the performances were really sloppy. This is the first time in my sec life which I was super bored with the pds group which is surprising as I loooove my sch's pds performances. It seems that my sch's NDP is getting worst year by year. Haizzz feel kinda embarrassed about having to let the new MP of Nee Soon see our sch's NDP for the first time and it appears to be really unenthusiastic and with no co-ordination. It kinda spoiled our sch image of not having to perform properly.

Another reason why today is a bad luck day for me is that my bb tea dropped on the floor and tore without me even having a single sip of it!!! toot! And the lady selling the bb tea had this stupid B*tch face which I feel like punching. Totally spoiled my day!

ok enough about all this! let me talk about positive stuff :) hmm so recently super junior released their new album!! This is their 5th album with 13 songs altogether. My favourite songs are Mr Simple, Memories and Walkin..The song Perfection also not bad but it is by Super Junior M.

Not forgetting Jirayu Laongmanee (Kao) who is effing cute/hot/handsome!!!! I couldn't stop laughing and smiling to myself..haha

I've already saved about nearly $100 this month..how awesome is that?!! hmm if each month I save $100, by November I can save about $400++!! after 'O' levels have to find a job and earn some money so that I have a reasonable budget to groom my room.

Anyway, went out with michelle and pakit yesterday..there was this flea market held at somerset, went there but to our disappointment, there was nth much..prefer the flea market at scape..so much better..after that, we went to bugis..went to bugis street, was super crowded!! I really hate to go there during the weekends..very squeezy and ppl keep pushing, which is super irritating..walked around, nth much caught our attention so ended up that the only things we bought were food! before leaving bugis, I insisted them that we take neoprint..I loooove taking neoprints!! ;P so yah, we took it and then left for home..

starting from tmr gonna mug like nobody's business..have to chiong my hw!!

alooot of work yet so little time..this is what happens when u procrastinate..seriously procrastination is everyone's nightmare..the more u procrastinate, more work will be piled up and in the end u will go crazy and get freaking stressful to get that work done..and sometimes, it's too late..

hmm..anyway, the flea market on sat was awesome BUT I didn't bring enough money..oh well at least I kinda saved money? lol...speaking of saving, Yvonne and I bought a piggy bank and have decided that we're gonna save $1 a day starting from first day of sch after jun holidays..we're gonna exchange our keys so NOWAY can we try to attempt to open our piggy bank..but there's a slight problem..we bought the same piggy bank but different design and our keys can open each others lock of the piggy bank..I think we are discipline enough not to open it :)

The Land of Kangaroos

I got back from Perth last Tuesday and the trip was freaking awesome!!!

It was not really cold at first but as the days goes by, the weather there became colder and colder.

Really had a superb time there..the outdoor activities such as abseiling, flying fox, kayaking and bushwalking was freakin awesome!! the best part is the shopping! I shopped till I dropped, and I wished so hard that I had more money to spend coz the things there are so unique and nice especially the stuffs from the brands Quicksilver, Roxy, Billabong, Volcom, etc!! The fremantle harbour town shopping centre has 100 over outlets!! When I went to the Nike shop, OMG!! got soooo many nice shoes that I wanna buy and it is like $20-$30 cheaper than SG!

If I have a chance to go Perth again, I would definitely go. Hope to go to other parts of Australia like Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast..this December holiday my dad said not sure if can go U.S..really hoping to go but he said since the oil price has gone up, the price of the flight ticket might go up..the option is either U.S or South Korea..I don't mind going to Korea at all since it's cheaper and I can shop more!! But I'd love to go to U.S..it would be super awesome!

seriously FML!!! haizzzz..I feel soooo freaking disappointed..I've failed my english for the first time in my sec life!!!!!! it seriously sucks and u have no idea how it feels..my effing summary pulled my grades down the drain..I only gotten 3/20 for the task fullfillment..haizzz!!! I've canceled 6 correct points and 4 more points I didn't write the key points so total loose 10marks..if not my summary will be 18/25..I've gotten full marks for language..arrrhh!!!!! my prelim results totally sucks big time!!! so overall gotten D7 for english, comb sci, comb humanities..C5 for MT and poa..and F9 for maths..haizzz!!! improved my sci and humanities but still fail..from F9 to D7..lol

I'm seriously gonna work super duper hard for prelim 2..I swear..even if it's 2 times harder than prelim 1, I'll do my very best to pass ALL and get at least 2 distinctions..for now, I've to concentrate for my MT!!

my whole body is hurting!!! especially my hands!! excruciating pain!!! it's bcoz of the abseiling course yesterday..it's a compulsory course for Australia field trip participants so I had to go for it..it's effing scary and tiring!! anway, I'm so gonna dread going sch tmr..I can't tolerate my MT intensive..it is seriously mental torture but I've no choice but to endure till May 30 which is my 'O' level MT..OMG!! I can't believe in 2 weeks time, I'll be sitting for my 'O' level MT paper..it's like SO FREAKING FAST!!! I'm not ready yet!! I'm scared to death bcoz I need/must get a distinction and I don't wanna retake MT..I'm sooo stressed out!! u have no idea..

anyway, on Mothers' Day last week, went shopping with mommy..we went to Bugis and Ion Orchard..my mum shop till I dropped!! suppose to meet my dad and bro to have dinner together but in the end didn't as my mum got so carried away from shopping..I think my mum spent more than $150 and I spent less that $150..lol..I'm so broke!! like today, I spent $35 also on clothes!! aarrrh!! have to save for Australia field trip..

ohoh!! totally forget to mention about the new bbtea that I tried at admiralty overhead bridge called "Cup Walker"..it's damn nice plus the bbtea is HUGE!! and guess what? the price is reasonable..the max price is $2 but have to pay extra 30 cents for pearl..I don't really like pearl so yah..good for me :D my favourite flavour so far is caramel pudding milk tea..it's soooo awesome!!!

totally forgot to mention about the nike 5k Goddes run also!! it was super awesome!! looove it!!

at the end of the race, they gave us flowers, chilled 100 plus, a trophy which is shaped like the logo of the nike goddess, free food like muffin, eclair, puffs, etc and they was also a photo booth!! also not forgetting the band that sang 2 of Justin Bieber's songs!!! (: extremely awesome lah!!

Waah..seriously this month damn stressful..some more on 7 May, I have a 5km marathon called "Nike Goddess 5K Run". Super nervous as it's my first ever marathon..hopefully I can finish the race before 45min.

Can't wait for prelims to finish coz I've an itch to shop!! I've this Newlook $50 voucher and it expires on May 31, so yah, a reason to shop..lol :D

wow!!!! my blog is seriously dead!!!!! have been really busy since the start of the year..it's my 'O' level year and I'm seriously freaking out..today was my English Prelims..damn sad that I did not complete my compo..just abit more and I would have finished it..haizz..the end of my prelims would be on 11 May and on 30 May, 'O' level MT!!!!! OMG!!!!!! diedie I must get a distinction for it..

ok enough of my school life..hmm what have I been doing this month? well, I went to Justin Bieber's concert on the 19 of April!! was kinda disappointed as the mike was autotuned and when he sang, it was -.-

I was like wtf? he sounded like a boy who is going through puberty and his voice is in the verge of breaking..yah that bad..

Hellooooooooo!!!! I've not blogged for quite a long time. Been quite busy lately. Went to Farhan Shah's Single launch on the 14 Nov then the following day went to David Archuleta's Autograph session. Then on wednesday went to Ikea then on friday went to watch harry potter and the deathly hallows and played bowling. And tmr, I'm going to OBS at Pulau Ubin till 26 nov. Then 3 days later going to Thailand till 14 dec. Then after coming back 3 days later it's 'N' level results!!! The thought of it just sends chills to my spine. I'm freaking scared and nervous for it. So, anyway, I'm nervous yet kinda excited to go to OBS tmr. I'm not even half way done packing yet. Haizz, don't know who in the world "accidentally forgot to take out their tissue paper from their pocket" and now it's all on my 2 long sleeve shirt that I'm suppose to bring to OBS!!!! It's so frustrating, Noway am I gonna take out the tissue paper bit by bit. Let my dad do it. HMPH!!! Coz this is like sooo not the first time!!

Ok, let me talk about the FS launch party. It was held at Zac Cafe, Arab Street Bugis..totally awesome seeing him after such a long time! And you know what? He remembered me! And the best part is, he remembered my name! woots! haha

And did I mention he looked incredibly hot? hahahaha..Faizal Isa was also there to, support FS.

ok now for the David Arhuleta event, it was held at Bugis Junction..and well he was effing cute in real life!!!! awww :D

and I couldn't believe it when he was standing on the stage. It was surreal man!!

David was very friendly, shy and smiley..he was singing at some part while he was signing for the ppl

den went to Ikea with pakit on wednesday....

the spaghetti with swiss meatball was heavenly!!! the meatball espacially!! so yummy..and the chicken wing that they're selling is very delicious.

den went to watch harry potter and the deathly hallows with nisa, azura, weng foong, asyik and norres

after that, we had a bowling game..weng foog was the BIG winner with the score of 155!

ohoh and yesterday after open hse went to Ion Orchard to eat dunkin' donuts with Yiying!! (:

Bad Hair Day

i'm seriously really really bored at home!! the things i've been doing everyday is surfing the net, watching the tv, playing WII, reading the library books that i've borrowed and lying down on my bed listening to music..life is seriously so boring without sch..yes, i've complain that i have to wake up early, iron my uniform blahblahblah but sch is what that makes my life a lively one..can't believe that i miss going to sch..but not for long till i'll have to go back to sch for study camp

so anyway, i went to the hair salon yesterday..it's the hair salon i've always been to..the last time i got a hair cut was on feb..yesterday when i went there, i was shock to see that all of the hair stylist were male..not a female was in sight..however, there were 3 other female customers there, so i was relieved..i saw how the hair stylist cut one of the customer's hair and i was impress, so i wasn't that reluctant to get my hair cut there

i rebonded my hair, and it took ages for it to be done..there were like 3 hairstylists doing my hair at the same time..after that, the main hair stylist started to cut the length of my hair..that wasn't too bad, it wasn't too short just right..but when it came to the fringe part, holy crap was i pissed off..i've already told him that i wanted a normal side fringe and i even showed him a pic to be exact

he started cutting and in my mind was "wth is he doing?? OMG!!!" and i told him i wanted the exact fringe that i showed him and he was like "nono, don't want exact ah, like this nice" and in my mind was "wtf, it's MY HAIR you're talking about!!!" after he cut it, it looked seriously ugly so i told him "i think u cut bangs better" and he was like "cut bangs ah? ok" *snip snip* "yah hor, bangs better" and in my mind was "FML!!! i've got bangs!! the last time i had bangs, i said that i would nvr cut it ever again and now see wht happens??"

after making the payment, the hairstylist said bye and the other 3 hairstylist working there extra, and said bye too..did i mention that all of them are gay? lol..and i'm serious

when i reached home, my mum was like "waah! u look like china doll" and i was like "thanks mum, for the criticism" and she was going on and on about my fringe, saying it was so ugly, and that made me feel worst, making me say the word FML even more..haizzz

i can't wait for my fringe to grow, like seriously, before i have to go back to sch

bangs don't suit me at all, coz my eyes and eyebrows are my main features ;P haha that's what the Loreal hairstylist said to me when I was in Thailand

wooohoo going to town on wed, can't wait to shopshopshop till i drop (:

haha going with nisa,pakit and mich..we seriously should pick a name for our clique

so anyway, till then, i won't be leaving the hse till that day..or maybe i'll be going to the library on mon to borrow some books..i've already read 2 out of 3 books that i've borrowed

I know I'm suppose to be studying now but well...a few minutes on blogging woudn't hurt won't it

anyway, 'N' levels is in 2 weeks time!!!!

so fast I know!!! no time for slacking it's serious business now man..

I've gotta get an A1 for each of this subjects coz I already know that I kinda screwed up in my english paper 1 and not too sure of getting an A1 for my mt because I screwed up in my oral..so I can't afford to screw up any more!

Btw, I got selected to go to OBS camp and I've got to submit the form tmr to mr lo

geesh, I guess I'm the only sec 4 because the form stated "sec 3 CCA leaders....."

it will be held on the 22nd - 26th of nov

hmm..I've gotta train sia..have to be very fit

oh yah..I forgot another thing, at first my dad said might be going korea during the holidays but when he went to the travel agency, they said that the price is like $800++ per person then plus the taxes total around $1000+ so my dad say if 4 ppl would be $4000+ so can't afford..haizz

then he said that the travel agency bluff that the price is $400+ per person which is stated in the newspaper

haizz..travel agency only know how to cheat only..lol

anyway, gonna go for a dental appointment soon after 'N's so that I can get my braces done

OMG it will kinda be scary with the injection and all..I'm not scared of injections but I've not gotten any in my mouth!! so yah..k lah, g2g now, back to studying..actually, I better go iron my uniform first..chow (:

Monday was MT 'N' level paper 1 & 2..Tuesday was MT Listening Comprehension and today was English paper 1 & 2..Arrrrh!!! I totally screwed up my paper 1!!! wasted too much time on my letter writing and in the end, ended up writing a crappy story for my compo and not finishing my letter writing and just signing it off. My A1/2 had just flew away =(

I'm feeling very regretful now and this feeling sucks to the core..now, I have to get A1 for the rest of my subjects in order to get <10 for my 'N' level..now that I know my mistake of not managing my time wisely, I would definitely do way better for my 'O' level next year..'N' level is EMB3..so example if I get C5 for english, I need to get an A1 for Math, POA, Combine Sci(Phy/Chem) and Combine Humanities(S.S/Geo) or MT

sheeesh..wasted lah..my English could have pulled me up..oh well what has happen can't be change..just have to work harder in the future..no time to slack anymore..must like study 24/7 -.-

the last paper for prelim just ended yesterday..yesterday was POA paper 1 & 2..flunked it man

so far gotten back social studies and MT and passed both of them..i think gonna get eng soon

i know dat i'm definitely gonna fail math paper 1& 2..chem, phy and geo 50/50..is either i fail or just pass

the worse part is, that these 2 weeks sch's gonna end at 5.30pm every single day haizzzzz...

anyway...enough about sch life..alot of things have happened during this month..

for pakit's b'day, we(nisa,michelle,me & pakit) went to causeway point seoul garden to have dinner

den for NDP, i went to Padang to watch the NDP live ((:

I practically screwed my MT oral..the reading was no problem but I totally flunked the conversation BIG TIME!

haizzz..I was nearly in tears when the male examiner said "you seriously are struggling to speak tamil ah" then the female examiner said "you can speak tamil but it seems that you are hesititaing and you have a lot of difficulty trying to converse in tamil". I think when i heard that, I kinda died a little inside. Haizzz..

Don't wanna talk about it anymore. The more I talk the more frustrated I will be.

Oh oh and the topic was about "talk about a time when you got angry and how you deal with it and why is patience important when someone is angry". I didn't even talk about the 2nd part.

And for the first part I talk about a lame story which my tution teacher told me when wrting a compo of this topic. I talked about this: "There was once when I had a fight with my friends. I was very frustrated and when I reached home after school, I went into my room and threw everything that was on the table. And then suddenly, I heard my dog mourning in pain. When I looked at it, I was shock to see that a pen knife was stuck at my dog's stomach. Blood starting dripping profusely. I shouted "OMG!" I didn't know what to do and the worst thing is that no one was at home. I went to seek for help from my neighbour. I told him what happened and he quickly called the SPCA. The vet came and put medicine for my dog. After that, the vet told me that he had to bring my dog to the animal hospital because they had to operate it since one of the blood vein had disconnected. I felt very guilty and sad. Because of my anger, an innocent animal got injured because of my silly actions. From that day on when I got angry, I recall this incident and think twice before I act. Haizzz..This is actually the jeez of the story but I think the way I said it in tamil was H.O.R.R.I.B.B.L.E

K lah, enough of my pathetic MT oral. It's over and done with.

Went to Plaza Singapura with Pakit on Sunday. I bought a jacket, blouse, Charles and Keith sunglasses, Etude makeup remover and 2 pairs of earrings. And on Monday, when I and Pakit were going to study at Yishun Library, there was a makeup sale at North Point. Aaarrrrh! spent $30! Bought 2 BB powder and 1 mascara. I promised not to spend any money on clothes, makeup and accessories till prelims are over. After prelims I'll definitely wanna go shopping at Ion Orchard and Bugis. And after that no more. Must concentrate for the national exam!!! OMG so fast already going to be August. Time really flys super fast. All the best to sec 4s for their exams! (:

ohoh and I'm already done with my stardate design. Haha I don't know how to colour the hand and so it turned out weird and ugly..hees :D

yesterday went to watch 'the crazies' at causeway point cathay theatre

there was a free coupon in the newspaper at the movie section which states that u can redeem 2 tickets, a small popcorn and drink and all for FREE (:

and it was also stated that we can watch any movie we wanted

so yah, as typical Singaporeans, after school we(pakit,michelle,nisa and me) straight away went causeway point to redeem the tickets

when we went dere ah, waaaaah soooo many students sia

obviously they must have also seen it

we were kind of at the back of the que

but den got some of our classmates(kelvan,weng foong,johnny) let us cut que

hahaha..so yah..actually wanted to watch blood pledge but den all sold out so ended up buying the crazies

seriously i'm a sucker for horror movies

i kinda covered my eyes abit at half of the movie and i literally shouted alot

lololol..thank God we didn't watch blood pledge

i think i would have died half way through the movie from shock

the crazies ok ah..but seriously very violent and gore

not for the faint-hearted of course

hmm as for today, went home at 6+ coz stayed back at art room to do my 2011 stardate design

haven finish yet..still got quite abit more to draw and colour

waah still need to draw for my Istana art competiton

yes!! eng oral is over and done with.

I kinda screwed up at one point of the conversation.The examiner asked what food I liked and I blurted banana milkshake, and that's not even a food and the best part is that I ended up talking about how healthy banana is.

Like rofl right? Haizzz..Anyway enough of that. It's over. Next oral will be mt oral

and I'm terrified!! Scared that I'll blankout, get tongue tied and mumble the the whole way through the conversation. Reading is ok but the conversation is my nightmare.

Anyway, let me tell you about today. Well something kinda terrible happened this morning.

It was around 8+ and I was walking to the kitchen and then while i was walking, pretty quickly, and it was quite dark, I stepped on something slimy and squishy.

I quickly jumped on a rag beside that area that I stepped on and when i saw what it was, GOSH!! It was a LIZARD!!!! I stepped on a lizard it started bleeding and it obviously died eventually

I rubbed my feet continuously on the rug and felt disgusted and guilty and the same time

but seriously, it was extremely disgusting
